The retina implant (10) comprises a stimulation chip (30) that is configured so as to be implanted in the area of the retina (16) of an eye (12), and a radiation receiver (32) which supplies power for the stimulation chip (30) according to non-visible incident radiation (24). According to one aspect of the invention, the radiation receiver (32) is embodied so as to be implanted at a distance from the stimulation chip (30) in the area of the eye (12). The stimulation chip (30) is provided with decoupling means in order to separate non-visible scattered radiation (36, 38) from incident visible light (18).
