The present invention provides compositions effective in decontaminating either biological pathogens or both chemical and biological pathogens. These compositions are particularly suitable for the decontamination of biological warfare agents or both chemical and biological warfare agents. The compositions comprise generally a blend of biocides, and may additionally comprise a protein and an enzyme. Further, the composition is contained in a buffered foam forming material for ease in distribution. The compositions are nontoxic, noncorrosive and nonflammable.

A method of manufacturing a thermionic element, comprising preparing a grooved block (11) of an n-type thermoelectric semiconductor and a grooved block (21) of a p-type thermoelectric semiconductor, on each of which a plurality of grooves (16, 26) are formed at the same pitch with portions in a thicknesswise direction ungrooved, fitting the grooved block (11, 21) of the n-type thermoelectric semiconductor and of the p-type thermoelectric semiconductor to each other, and filling an adhesive insulating material in gaps between the fitted portions to form an integral block (3). The method further comprises removing portions except fitted portions in the integral block (3), where the n-type and p-type thermoelectric semiconductors are fitted to each other, to expose n-type and p-type thermoelectric semiconductors stock pieces, and forming electrodes for connecting the respective thermoelectric semiconductors stock pieces alternately in series. Further, it is desirable to form a plurality of grooves in a direction intersecting the direction of the grooves (16, 26), with portions of the stock pieces left, and perform the above steps of exposing the thermoelectric semiconductors stock pieces and forming the electrodes after filling an insulating material in the formed grooves and having the same solidifying.

The addition of the material (3), by movement of the dispenser in the XYZ-directions on a platform (8), beneath the filling level of the first material (2) in the container (1) leads to the formation of three-dimensional objects.

An electronic throttle control apparatus is provided with an electronic throttle (1) including a throttle valve (4) which is opened and closed by a motor (5), and a microcomputer (11) which controls the motor (5). The microcomputer (11) calculates a deviation between a target opening degree which is set by detection of an accelerator sensor (8) and an actual opening degree which is detected by a throttle sensor (6) to calculate a motor control amount in accordance with the deviation and a control gain in correspondence to the deviation. The microcomputer (11) sets a control gain which becomes smaller as the deviation becomes larger, and limits the control gain by the previous control gain at a time when the control gain is larger than the previous control gain. The microcomputer (11) cancels the limit of the control gain when a calculated speed of change of the actual opening degree becomes lower than a predetermined value.

New tropane analogs that bind to monoamine transporters are described, particularly, 8-aza, 8-carbo and 8-oxy tropanes having 6- or 7-substituents. The compounds of the present invention can be racemic, pure R-enantiomers, or pure S-enantiomers. Certain preferred compounds of the present invention have a high selectivity for the DAT versus the SERT. Also described are pharmaceutical therapeutic compositions comprising the compounds formulated in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and a method for inhibiting 5-hydroxy-tryptamine reuptake of a monoamine transporter by contacting the monoamine transporter with a 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibiting amount of a compound of the present invention. Preferred monoamine transporters for the practice of the present invention include the dopamine transporter, the serotonin transporter and the norepinephrine transporter.
