    摘要: A magnetic control valve is provided in a suction powered pool cleaner (10) of the type for vacuuming dirt and debris from submerged floor and side wall surfaces of a swimming pool. The pool cleaner comprises a head defining a suction inlet (34) for vacuum inflow of water and debris into a plenum chamber (40), and further through a suction tube (42) adapted for connection via a vacuum hose (14) to a conventional pool water filtration system (12). The control valve includes an oscillatory valve member (64) movable between open and substantially closed positions relative to an upstream end of the suction tube to produce pressure fluctuations causing the cleaner to advance in steps over submerged pool surfaces. Oscillatory driving of the valve head is assisted by permanent magnets (74, 76, 78) mounted on the valve member and cleaner head to generate repulsion forces as the valve head respectively approaches the open and closed positions.

The channel(36) has a first section(25) for receiving and enclosing a portion of the slider and a second section(26) for receiving only the closure strips(56) but not the slider(58). The channel(36) further has a slot(30) formed by the distal portions(34) of the holding members (23,24) wherein the slot(30) has a width sufficient to allow the side panels(52) of the thermoplastic bag(50) to enter the slot(30) but prevent passage of the closure strips(56) through the slot (30) .

    摘要: An eductor (1) for mixing liquids, e.g. a concentrated solution into water, has a flow passage (16) for a first liquid into which a dispensing passage (18) for a second liquid opens so that in use the second liquid is drawn into the flow of the first liquid. The dispensing passage (18) including a flow restrictor portion provided by a groove (22) extending on the periphery of a restrictor plug (19) removably received in a socket (21) of the eductor body. The groove (22) and the wall of the socket (21) define the flow rate in the dispensing passage. The plug (19) has a plurality of the grooves (22) and is selectively insertable into the socket in a plurality of positions, the grooves providing respectively different flow rates of the second liquid.
