Each gripping head (24) is rotatable about a rotation axis (X) perpendicular to the conveyor belt (17) and is configured to pick up and hold a product (P) transported by the conveyor belt (17). Each support body (23) is movable parallel to the rotation axis (X) of the respective gripping head (24) between an approached condition to the conveyor belt (17) and a distanced condition from the conveyor belt (17). Each support body (23) moves along the active branch (15) of the transport track (13) with a speed equal to the transport speed of the conveyor belt (17).
