摘要:
According to the invention, an iron oxide is provided for ferrite having a Mn content of 0,1 to 0,3 % by weight and a P content of not more than 0,005 % by weight. Such an iron oxide can easily be produced by making an iron chloride solution, dephosphorizing the iron chloride solution by a simple process and oxidizing roasting the dephosphorized solution to provide the desired iron oxide. Although Mn is contained as an impurity the ferrite properties are not impaired thereby since attention is paid to the impurities of P which are at a low level. Accordingly, soft ferrite can be produced having excellent ferrite properties.

A process for producing a powdery complex oxide to be used in producing ferrite containing both an iron oxide and a zinc oxide as necessary ingredients, which comprises spraying an aqueous solution containing chlorides of respective ingredients into a fluidized roasting furnace (3) wherein the temperature of a fluidized layer (6) is 600°C or above to cause thermal decomposition, taking produced oxide particles and a decomposition gas (16) out of the roasting furnace (3) through its upper portion, and collecting the oxide particles using a dust collector (10). This process enables a powdery starting material for ferrite, which contains the complex oxide, to be obtained even without a calcinating step.

In a method for producing powdered iron oxide by oxidizing roasting an iron chloride solution, the pH-value of the crude iron chloride solution is adjusted to 2,5 to 4,5, the solution is subjected to a mechanical treatment in order to obtain a solution whose pH-value is not less than 1,5 and which contains insoluble Fe³⁺compounds in an amount of 0,01 to 0,1 % by weight, being calculated as Fe. The insolubles are separated from the solution and the resulting filtrate or purified solution is then roasted and oxidized in order to produce powdered iron oxide having a P content of not more than 0,005 % by weight.

A solution containing iron chloride and manganese chloride, whose phosphorus content is not higher than 0.007 wt.% with respect to the total content of iron and manganese. A method for producing the said solution comprises the steps of dissolving manganese containing raw material in hydrochloric solution; oxidizing the solution; adjusting the pH of the solution to 2.5 ∼ 4.5; separating the insolubles from the solution. This solution can be utilized to produce a mixed powder of an iron oxide and a manganese oxide. And the mixed powder is useful for producing a high-quality soft ferrite.

摘要:
The present invention relates to a method for removing a silicic compound from the waste liquor of steel pickling. A filtering method using a filter fabric or biscuit plate is impractical as an industrial method because the filtering medium becomes clogged. The present invention is characterized by an adsorption method in which silicic compounds are adsorbed on adsorbent substrates (3) in an optional part of an adsorption bed. The present invention is characterized in that the waste liquor is passed through the adsorption bed for a two-month period or longer without clogging occurring.
