Disclosed is a method of removing lead materials from an anode for manufacturing copper foil to regenerate the anode. The method includes cleaning solution preparation, anode cleaning and anode washing. The cleaning solution preparation includes preparing a cleaning solution containing an aqueous solution of EDTA and citric acid. The cleaning solution used to perform the anode cleaning has a pH of 7 to 9 and a temperature of 20 to 50°C. The anode cleaning includes cleaning the anode by immersing the anode including the lead materials attached to the surface thereof in the cleaning solution to perform EDTA-Pb chelation. As a result, the transfer of the lead materials from the anode to the cleaning solution means substantial removal of the lead materials from the anode. The anode, from which the lead materials have been removed, is washed using a high-pressure washer.

The invention relates to a method for obtaining or recovering acids, in particular nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid, from solutions and/or from solutions containing metal salts of said acids, comprising the following steps: a) spray drying the solutions at temperatures below the decomposition temperature of the acids, wherein the energy required therefor is introduced by means of a gaseous heat-transfer medium in order to obtain dry metal salts and gaseous acids; b) absorbing the gaseous acids formed in step a); c) separating the dry metal salts formed in step a); optionally d) burning the dry metal salts obtained in step a) at temperatures in the range of 400-900 °C in order to obtain metal oxides and gaseous acids; and e) absorbing the gaseous acids formed in step d).

The invention relates to a method of regenerating a spent titanium etching solution that is based on hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid and contains dissolved titanium. Said method involves determining the hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid concentrations in the solution, comparing each of the measured values with a respective associated predetermined threshold value, and adding KF and/or KNO 3 to the solution when the respective HF and/or HNO 3 concentration in the solution is below the associated threshold value. The method also includes determining the titanium concentration in the solution, comparing the measured value with a predetermined limit, and adding KF and KNO 3 to the solution if the measured value exceeds said limit.
