Abstract:
Recently, silica is often blended in energy-saving tires. Since a reaction between silica and a silane coupling agent is slow, kneading is performed in multiple stages and so on. In order to simplify the kneading step, provided are a rubber composition and a filler for use in rubber, both of which have excellent workability and dynamic characteristics. More specifically, provided are a filler composition containing a silica-based filler, a silane coupling agent, and a hydroxy acid and/or a hydroxy acid salt; a filler obtained by reacting the filler composition; a rubber composition containing the filler; a crosslinked product of the rubber composition; a composition containing a diene-based rubber, silica, a silane coupling agent, and a hydroxy acid and/or a hydroxy acid salt; and a crosslinked product of the composition.
Abstract:
Provided is a chlorine dioxide-generating product comprising an inorganic porous carrier carrying a chlorite and an alkali agent. In the product, the alkali agent is carried in an amount of more than 0.7 molar equivalent and not more than 2 molar equivalents relative to the amount of the chlorite carried, and the product has a water content of 10% by weight or less. The chlorine dioxide-generating product can stably generate chlorine dioxide gas in an amount that sufficiently achieves deodorization, sterilization, virus removal, mold prevention, antisepsis, or the like of spatial environments, foods, or others but exerts no harmful effect on humans, over a long period of time.

Disclosed is a vulcanized rubber laminate, wherein a thermoplastic resin layer and an unvulcanized epichlorohydrin rubber composition layer containing a specific maleimide compound, vulcanizing agent, and acid acceptor are heated and bonded. Specifically disclosed is a laminate configured by heating and bonding an unvulcanized epichlorohydrin rubber composition layer (A) and a thermoplastic resin (B), wherein the unvulcanized epichlorohydrin rubber composition contains: an epichlorohydrin rubber (a), a compound containing one or more maleimide group within the molecule (b), a vulcanizing agent (c), and an acid acceptor (d).

2-Aryl-2-halomethyl-4-chloromethyl-1,3-dioxolane (A) is produced with ease without decreasing the optical purity, by reacting optically active monochlorohydrin and aryl(halomethyl)ketone as starting materials in an acid catalyst. Furthermore, optically active (2-aryl-2-halomethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl carboxylate and optically active (2-aryl-2-halomethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl sulfonate, which are useful intermediates for ketoconazole, are efficiently produced from the obtained optically active form (A). In addition, optically active trans-(2-aryl-2-halomethyl-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl)methyl carboxylate is isomerized to a cis form thereof in the presence of an acid catalyst.
