摘要: An apparatus and a method for dry forming of fibre weave (9) are disclosed. The apparatus comprises a suction box (4) and a superjacent forming head and a forming wire (2) placed in between. The weave (9) is formed on the forming wire, in that the suction box (4) has an active suction area (17) that sucks the fibres towards the forming wire (2). With the object of avoiding beaching in the formed fibre weave (9) a pressure drop regulating means (3) is mounted in the suction box in a sub-section of the suction area (17).

摘要: The purpose of the invention is to provide a former head allowingfor processing long fibres while achieving a carding action and a fibre distribution fulfilling high quality standards, and providing the possibility of adjustments during operation. The former head (2) contains at least one needle roller (6), where a mixture of air and fibres are injected above the horizontal plane in which the centre axis of the needle roller is situated and directly onto the periphery (22) of the needle roller, and which is furthermore arranged with a number of adjustable needle rollers (8,10). With a former head (2) where fibres and air are injected in a controlled and new way, there is achieved possibility of processing longer fibres and maintain a high distribution quality. By using a number of adjustable needle rollers (8,10), there is achieved the advantage that the fibre material go through a carding process during the distribution. This carding process is effected by the action of needles (36) by injection onto the periphery (22) of the stationary needle roller as well as by the subsequent contact with the adjustable needle rollers (8,10).

摘要: A forming box (1) is disclosed to an apparatus for dry forming of a fibrous tissue to e.g. preparation of paper. The forming box (1) is provided with a cloud of airborne fibres via transference pipes (6). Under the forming box (1) a forming wire (3) and a vacuum box (5) is placed. In order to achieve a very high capacity as a possibility for the handling of very long fibres, the forming box is prepared without a net or a bottom plate. In place hereof the forming box (1) has an open bottom for release of the fibre material onto the forming wire (3). In the forming box rotating spike rollers (7) are established in such a way that they substantially cover the whole cross sectional area of the forming box. The rotating spike rollers have appeared to make it possible to achieve a very big capacity of formed uniform fibrous tissue on the forming wire and at the time make it possible to handle very long fibres.

摘要: There is described a method and an apparatus for use in dry forming a fabric (1) which is formed by at least two non-woven fabrics (2, 3). By the method and the apparatus the upper run (7) of the transfer wire (5) is used as forming wire, as a forming head (13) is disposed above the transfer wire. Hereby is formed an airlaid non-woven fabric on the transfer wire. This non-woven fabric (3) is carried with the transfer wire down on the top side of the first non-woven fabric (2) which is formed on a preceding forming wire (15) and which is transferred in a normal way by means of the transfer wire to a subsequent conveying wire (27). This subsequent conveying wire can also be a forming wire so that a further non-woven fabric (49) can be formed before the fabric is consolidated, e.g. by hydroentanglement or by latex bonding/fibre bonding. By the invention it is possible to achieve high production speeds and simultaneously get a simple construction that enable making products where an airlaid non-woven fabric is combined with high density with a non-woven fabric with low density.

摘要: It is the purpose of the invention to indicate a former head (2) for dry forming fibrous tissue, where a fibre material mixed with air is introduced to at least one rotating drum (4) in a former head by injection, where the drum (4) is provided internally with means (6, 16, 18, 20) for fluidising the fibres injected. By the invention is achieved a higher production capacity and simultaneously an increased distribution quality of the fibres. Thus it is possible to have a former head (2) with high capacity and an increased width, preferably over four meters. The known problems with natural oscillations in the needle rollers are avoided in that they are substituted by so-called slotted air nozzles (6). The slotted air nozzles (6) extend along the drum (4) in the whole length and are provided with adjustable (20) nozzle lips (18) in order to regulate the amount of air and direction of the air flow blown through the perforations of the drum. Hereby is achieved the surprising effect that the capacity of the former head is markedly higher compared with the prior art, and that the distributing quality also is markedly better than by high-speed operation of traditional machines.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing a multi-layer fabric are described, including at least one fibre layer formed by airlaying combined with at least on further layer which is formed by different technologies, e.g. carding, spunlacing, meltblowing, spunbonding, airlaying, or combined with one or more films. The airforming is performed on a separate formerwire which is applied vacuum via a suction box disposed opposite to a formerhead, and where the airformed fibre layer is transferred to a conveyor wire for joining with a further layer. In order to attain a energy economically and material saving manufacture of such fabrics, edge trimming is performed at least on the airformed layer before it is joined with one or more other layers for forming the multi-layered fabric, and that the scrap from edge trimming and exhaust from the suction box is returned to the formerhead. By the invention it is possible to attain high production speeds and at the same time to get an energy economical production and simple construction which enable making multi-layer products in which one combines an airlaid fibre web with other webs for achieving desirable properties in the multi-layered product.
