The heat dissipating device includes a heat dissipating bracket having a heat absorbing part, and a linear heat dissipating unit which is coupled to the heat dissipating bracket and has a coil shape achieved by the continuous winding of a wire into a spiral shape. The heat dissipating bracket includes an insert hole corresponding to part of the linear heat dissipating unit in such a way as to be in surface contact with the part of the linear heat dissipating unit, and the linear heat dissipating unit protrudes to the outside of the heat absorbing part of the heat dissipating bracket to perform a heat exchange process for dissipating heat through natural convection ventilation. The fanless LED lamp includes the linear heat dissipating unit as a heat dissipating means.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an LED lighting apparatus dissipating heat by fanless ventilation including a heat radiation housing that has a heat radiation frame provided around the body of the heat radiation housing and spaced apart from the body and also has linear heat radiation fins configured to minimize interference to air flow and to maximize the heat radiation area, thereby expanding the heat radiation area significantly and thus dissipating heat much more effectively through ventilation by natural convection without a blowing fan, and consequently, extending the life span of the LED lighting apparatus and improving its quality. The LED lighting apparatus comprises a light source part including at least one LED and a PCB used to mount the LED; and a heat radiation housing provided at the upper portion thereof with a terminal part, receiving and supporting the light source part and dissipating heat, wherein the heat radiation housing includes a light source installation part provided at the lower portion of the heat radiation housing to install the light source part, a body formed above the light source installation part and receiving a power driver therein, a ring-type heat radiation frame spaced apart from the outer circumferential surface of the body, and a plurality of linear heat radiation fins connecting the ring-type heat radiation frame to the body and spaced apart from each other at a predetermined interval to dissipate heat.

    摘要: A backlight unit (1) for a flat panel display such as an LCD or as a light source for advertising displays or for general illumination purposes. The backlight unit consists of a light guide panel (10), a series of LED sources (31) mounted on a printed circuit board (33) and a cooling radiator (50), the LEDs being mounted together with the PCB and the radiator in a groove (13) on the back surface (10b) of the light guide. The elasticity of the groove walls holds the components in place (press-fit). The light sources are thus mounted inside the light guide and not at the guide edge. The arrangement allows a simplification in the assembly process.
    The radiator is also mounted inside the groove and conducts the heat dissipated by the sources to the back surface of the light guide. The radiator and the PCBs (also flexible ones) can be fitted in a curved groove, depending on the light guide configuration. It is also possible to produce planar light guides with curved (fig.8) instead of rectangular principle surfaces or non-planar curved geometries in three dimensions (fig.17).
    The light guide principle light emitting surface exhibits either a plurality of notches (11), an unevenly distributed dot pattern, a printed dot pattern or a diffuse surface in order to better distribute the light.
    A white film (21) arranged at the bottom of the groove helps to redistribute the light from the sources and to make the LEDs and their associated wiring (35) less visible from the front viewing side.
    A reflection film (12) on the back surface of the light guide is also provided. Various embodiments include different cooling radiator configurations (figs.5a-5g), a closed groove with one entrance (13a) (for the wiring), arrays of LEDs on several sides of the guide (fig.15) and a slim guide variant (fig.19), in which an additional supporting substrate (10) attached to the guide helps to accommodate the groove whose depth is greater than the thickness of the slim guide (10c).
