Disclosed is a method for producing a biomolecule by a cell cultured in vitro, the method comprising the steps of: (a) propagating the cell in a cell culture, wherein the cell is transformed with a vector, wherein the vector comprises (i) at least one hypoxia-responsive element (HRE) consisting of a nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO.: 1, SEQ ID NO.: 2, SEQ ID NO.: 3, SEQ ID NO.: 4 and functional variants of any one of these sequences; (ii) a promoter that is active in the cell, wherein the promoter is operably linked to the HRE; (iii) a nucleic acid sequence encoding the biomolecule, wherein the nucleic acid sequence is operably linked to the promoter; and (b) isolating the biomolecule from the cell culture. Further disclosed is a cell for producing a biomolecule in vitro.

The mass flow ( ṁ F ) of the working fluid is determined using a classification (m) of the opening of the expansion valve (40; 40A, 40B, 40C) and some of the detected thermodynamic parameters ( T entrance , p entrance , p exit ) of the working fluid.
