摘要: The invention relates to a multi-spindle lathe comprising a machine frame (10), a rotatably mounted spindle drum (20), at least two workpiece spindles (S) that are located in the spindle drum, the workpiece receptacle on said spindles being rotatable about a respective spindle axis and a plurality of stationary spindle stations on the machine frame (T), into which the workpiece spindles can be introduced. The aim of the invention is to improve the lathe in such a way that the workpieces can be removed easily and extremely rapidly from the workpiece removal station. To achieve this, a rotatable workpiece receptacle (74) is allocated to the workpiece removal station (T6), said receptacle being displaceable in relation to the workpiece spindle lying in a workpiece removal station by means of a carrier device (90, 100), between a workpiece transfer position, in which the axis (72) is coaxial to the spindle axis (A) of the workpiece spindle that lies in the workpiece removal station (T6) and a workpiece delivery position and being displaceable in a z-direction by means of the carrier device.

In order to improve upon one such machine tool, whereby more work tools can be used simultaneously on workpieces, the spindle housing carriers extend sidewards away from the spindle housings and a third tool carrier, which can move at least in a direction X and which is associated with one of the working spindles, is provided between the spindle housing carriers of the first and second working spindles on a side of the spindle axis which is approximately opposite to the first and second tool carrier.

摘要: The invention relates to a machine tool, comprising a machine frame, a support which is located on said machine frame and which has a first workpiece or tool holder; and a compound slide system which is located on the machine frame and which has a second workpiece or tool holder that can be displaced by means of the compound slide system within a range of movement on a compound slide displacement surface. The aim of the invention is to improve a machine tool of this type in terms of the characteristics of the compound slide system. To this end, the compound slide system comprises two slide elements, one of which is supported on the machine frame and the other of which supports the second holder. The slide elements are guided in such a way that they can be moved towards each other by means of a single two-dimensional guide that can be moved in the direction of both compound slide axes of motion. Said guide determines the precision of the guiding of the second holder parallel to the compound slide movement surface. A drive device is also provided and enables the slide element that supports the second holder to be moved and fixed in relation to the other slide element in both directions of movement of the compound slide, with defined alignment of the slide elements with each other.
