摘要: The present invention relates to a conversion of fuel grade coke produced through thermal cracking of heavy petroleum residue to anode grade coke. More specifically, the present invention provides a process which employs high sulfur fuel grade coke as the feedstock to produce low sulfur coke which can be used to manufacture electrodes for use in aluminium industry. Further, the invention also relates to a system for removal of metal content from coke and conversion of fuel grade coke to anode grade coke.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for bio-assisted treatment of spent caustic obtained from hydrocarbon and gas processing installations. The present invention also relates to method for recovery of caustic and recovery of sulfur from spent caustic. According to present invention, the sulfide removal is about 96% and the sulphur formation and deposition on the electrode lies in range of 72±8%.

摘要: This invention relates to a process and an apparatus for regeneration of spent FCC catalyst using multiple reactors operation resulting in wide variation of coke on spent catalyst are disclosed. This process uses an up flow regenerator with divided injection of spent catalyst based on their coke content to control the residence time for its efficient regeneration and reduced hydrothermal deactivation. This system has the advantage of minimizing the exposure to the high temperature of low coked catalyst to the minimum possible time and high coke contained catalyst to the required time for its complete regeneration.

摘要: A process and apparatus for catalytic cracking of hydrocarbon feedstock employing circulating fluidized bed reactor-regenerator configuration for maximizing the yield of propylene (C3 olefin) is disclosed. The apparatus comprises two reaction zones operating under different temperature and weight hourly space velocity (WHSV), one primary zone for cracking of hydrocarbon feedstock and other as secondary zone for cracking of C4 fraction produced from the cracking of hydrocarbon feedstock in the primary reaction zone, optionally admixed with C4 stream from external source. Two dedicated conduits equipped with valves for control of catalyst flow rate are provided to supply the hot catalyst from a common catalyst regeneration zone wherein the catalyst flowing though conduit connected to the secondary reaction zone is cooled employing a heat exchanging device. The lower temperature achieved in secondary reaction zone on account of exchange of heat along with lower weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) selectively promotes oligomerisation of C4 fraction before being cracked to produce C3 olefin in the subsequent portion of the reaction zone (primary).
