The lifting frame is designed to handle one or several load-carriers, such as load-carrying platforms, containers and similar freight-carrier means, which load-carriers are equipped with lengthwise support beams and are arranged to be secured to the lifting frame (3) or to be lifted off the lorry with the aid of said frame. A mounting frame (4) secured to the frame beams (2) is provided with at least three transverse beams (9). Each one of the beams is provided on one side in the lengthwise direction of the lorry (1) with pivot points (10) in which are journalled the lower end of a link arm (11), and at least two of the transverse beams (9) are provided on their opposite sides with pivot points (12) in which is journalled the lower end of at least one piston-and-cylinder unit (13). The upper ends of the link arms (11) and the piston-and-cylinder units (13) are journalled in pivot points (14) formed in the lifting frame (3).

The corner box is movable between two positions corresponding to a first position of said support leg (10) internally of the loading frame and to a second position of the support leg (10) externally of the loading frame. When the support leg (10) is pivoted/lifted from its downwards to its upwards folded position the link arm (22) is pivoted from an essentially horizontal position to an essentially vertical position. The shaft (28) mounting the support leg (10) to the link arm (22) thus is lowered so as to allow the leg, when folded upwards, to extend in underneath a beam (50) by means of which a flap post is mounted to the loading frame. The level of the loading frame when deposited on ground will be high.
