Abstract:
A valve cartridge (12) for a sanitary fitting (10) has a housing main body (16), which has a longitudinal axis and comprises at least one water connection opening (34) at a bottom surface (44), and a sealing ring (38) for fluid tight sealing of the at least one water connection opening (34) against a cartridge seat (20) of the sanitary fitting (10). In order to improve fluid tightness the valve cartridge (12) comprises a sealing confiner element (50), which is movable relative to the housing main body (16) along the longitudinal axis of the housing main body (16) and which at least partially surrounds the sealing ring (38) such that a transverse movement of the sealing ring (38) is restricted.
Abstract:
A covering rosette (16) for a concealed sanitary fitting (10) comprises a covering hood (18) and a rosette support (20) which supports the covering hood. The covering hood (18) and the rosette support (20) comprise a clip mechanism (32, 46) configured such that the covering hood (18) can be mounted to the rosette support (20) while allowing a rotation around a central axis (28). In order to better adjust and fix a desired rotational alignment of the covering hood (18), the covering hood (18) and the rosette support (20) comprise a cam mechanism (40, 60) having a cam curve (60) and a cam follower (40), wherein the cam curve (60) is arranged on one of the covering hood (18) or the rosette support (20) and the cam follower (40) is arranged on the respective other of the covering hood (18) or the rosette support (20). The cam mechanism (40, 60) further is configured such that it sets an angular relation between the covering hood (18) and the rosette support (20) and that this angular relation can be changed by moving the cam curve (60).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a coupler (110) capable of being used between a water pipe (2) and a faucet body (101) to compensate installation error inflicted stresses in the water pipes (2). The coupler comprises an outward directed bracket (115) and an attachment nut (108) with corresponding inward directed bracket (120). At least one of the surfaces (116, 117) of the coupler's (110) outward directed bracket (115) is shaped as a surface deviating from a plane perpendicular to the coupler's (110) center axis (114). Furthermore, the attachment nut (108) may have a surface (125) of its inward directed bracket (120) shaped correspondingly.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for flushing a WC bowl, the apparatus allowing reflushing of the bowl soon after the first flushing without filling the water tank to the maximum volume determined by an electric sensor. The movement of a piston part (4) located in a chamber (5) communicating with the water distribution system is controlled by means of a control mechanism (2) operating under the dynamic pressure of supply water and by the force of gravity, this movement, in turn, controlling the movement of the discharge valve (15) and thus regulating the flushing step.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lever tap, comprising a stationary body (1), as well as a lever (6) pivotable relative to an articulation (13) and rotatable about its axis (14) and provided with a handle (8) for adjusting a flow passing through the tap. This type of tap may constitute a water tap for wash basin or a shower, whereby the received water is adjustable as to its volume and temperature. An object of the invention is to provide protection for an adjustment mechanism (5) internal of the body (1) from inbound water and detergents. The body (1) may have its end provided with a protective cap (15) enclosing the lever (6) and including a spherically curved surface, whereby, according to the invention, the lever is provided with a co-movable packing (17) having its annular collar adapted to trace along the curved surface of the protective cap for sealing a clearance between the body end and the lever. Preferably, both the body protecting cap (15) and the packing (17) deposited on the lever (6) are designed for a curvature complementary to each other and in a continuous sealing contact with each other.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method for maintaining the reliable operation of a sensor detecting a need for flushing a urinal (10). According to the invention, urine stone and/or other such dirt adhered over the area of the flushing-need detecting sensor within the liquid basin of the urinal (10) is removed by means of a vibrator operating over this particular area. In a preferred case, the sensor comprises for example a piezoelectric crystal. In one embodiment of the invention, the sensor is adapted to vibrate by means of a piezoelectric crystal. In a second preferred embodiment, said piezoelectric crystal is set in the immediate vicinity of the sensor, thereby removing the dirt.
Abstract:
The object of the invention is a single-control mixing valve with temperature control. The valve has two operating states, a normal operating state and a manual operating state. In the normal state, an adjusting knob is used to select the temperature and the opened/closed position is controlled by a solenoid valve. In the manual operating state, the solenoid valve is by-passed. The valve solution according to the invention can be applied, for example, to photocell-controlled wash basin faucets.
