The present invention describes a novel hydrating composition that comprises a mixture of esters of one or more alkoxylated polyols and finds applicability in the formulation of cosmetics for the skin. The composition according to this invention may be presented in solid form or in liquid form, in this case further comprising one or more surfactants, emollients, and optionally, water. The hydrating composition described in this invention is compatible with a great variety of emollients and other ingredients used in cosmetic formulations, and evidenced being capable of maintaining the skin hydrated for 24 hours.

The present invention describes a novel thickening composition that comprises a mixture of esters of an alkoxylated polyol and is used to enhance the viscosity of agrochemical formulations. The composition according to the present invention may present itself in solid for or in liquid form, in this latter case further comprising one or more surfactants, solvents, and optionally water. The thickening composition described in this invention is compatible with a large variety of pesticides and inert components used in agrochemical formulations, and it has evidence that it is capable of improving the stability and the effectiveness of the said formulations.

The present invention relates to aqueous resin emulsions containing at least a non-ionic surfactant of general formula R 1 -(A 1 O) n -(A 2 O) x -(A 3 O)y-R 2 , obtained by the phase inversion emulsification process. In particular, the invention relates to aqueous resin emulsions commonly used in solvent-based paints, such as, for example, alkyd resins. Said emulsions are stabilized by non-ionic and anionic surfactant compositions which promote the inversion of the water-oil to oil-water phases in the presence of low water content, enabling water-oil type emulsions to be obtained with high productivity and high solids content, even in low shear conditions.

The present invention relates to a novel adjuvant composition for use in herbicide formulations containing high concentrations of glyphosate salts, as well as herbicide formulations containing a novel adjuvant composition. The adjuvant composition of the present invention comprises one or more urea alkoxylated derivatives and can also contain further surfactants. The novel adjuvant composition described in the present invention can be incorporated in herbicide formulations which contain glyphosate salts, such as MIPA, potassium, MEA, TEA or mixtures thereof. These herbicide formulations may also contain additional herbicides in their composition. These glyphosate containing herbicide formulations can be used in liquid sprays for controlling weeds. In addition to being compatible with various glyphosate salts at different concentrations, the adjuvant composition of the present invention has shown to be capable of improving stability and agronomic effectiveness of these formulations.
