摘要: A rosin dispersion is a reaction product of, by dry weight based on total dry weight of the rosin dispersion, from 80% to 98% a rosin resin, and from 2% to 20% a dispersant. The rosin resin is processed by at least one method of a) modification, b) hydrogenation or disproportionation, and c) polymerization or esterification from raw material rosins. The dispersant is selected from C18-C32 aliphatic carboxylic acids, olefin (meth) acrylic acid copolymers, and other acid/anhydride modified polymers. A continuous process for preparing the rosin dispersion and an adhesive formulation comprising the rosin dispersion are also included.

摘要: The present invention further provides a binder composition comprising a first binder and a second binder, wherein the first binder comprises, by dry weight based on total dry weight of the binder composition, from 5% to 98% polymer particles, from 0.3% to 20% a first polysaccharide, and from 0.1% to 20% a colorant; and the second binder comprises, by dry weight based on total dry weight of the binder composition, from 0.05% to 5% a crosslinker. 摘要: The present invention provides a dispersion of polymer particles comprising, as polymerized units, by dry weight based on total dry weight of the polymer particles, from 85% to 99.9% ethylenically unsaturated nonionic monomers, from 0.01% to 4% phosphorous-containing (meth)acrylate monomers, and at least one neutralizer. The final pH of the polymer dispersion is above 6, and from 50% to 100% by mole of the total neutralizers are alcohol amines. The present invention further provides a paint comprising said dispersion. The paint has both satisfactory paint viscosity stability and improved paint performances such as scrub resistance, stain resistance, corrosion resistance and durability.

摘要: The present invention provides a polymer dispersion comprising by dry weight based on total dry weight of the polymer dispersion, a) from 60% to 95% a vinyl acetate monomer, b) from 0.2% to 2.5% a phosphorus-containing allylic monomer; and c) from 0.2% to 2.5% an itaconic acid monomer; wherein the total amount of monomers b) and c) is from 0.5% to 2.5% by dry weight based on total dry weight of the polymer dispersion, and the dry weight ratio of monomer b) to monomers b) and c) is from 0.2 to 0.6. The present invention further provides a paint formulation of PVC higher than 60% comprising the polymer dispersion.
