This is attained in that, during the winding process in a winding device (1), individual wires (3) are taken from stationary feeds (2) and taken to a dedicated compensating storage device (7) and several of said wires (3) are wound at a bunch of approximately parallel wires (3) on a common multi-wire coil (10), and during the unwinding of the bunch of wires (3) from a multi-wire coil (10) thus wound which is received in an unwinding device of a stranding device designed as a coil support (19) the individual wires (3) are taken to a stranding process via a dedicated compensating storage device (7').

The invention relates to a process and device for producing steel cord, in particular high tensile and ultra-high tensile strength cord. The aim of the invention is to provide for a high-quality production of in-out stranded wire with a core wire made of high tensile and ultra-high tensile wires, where large-scale spool fillings can be processed at an acoustic level of 50 Kg, and, through a glide and roll-off movement on a conical reversing sheave (7) at a single stranding point (9), the wires are stranded in a double twist to the structurally finished stranded wire (15); b) the structurally finished stranded wire (15) rotates about itself in passing through two synchronously rotating flyers (13a, 13b) at double the rotational speed of the flyers (13a, 13b); c) the individual wires (8; 8) are subjected to a predeformation before they pass into the stranding point (9); d) the structurally finished stranded wire (15) is subjected to a plastic deformation by overtwisting in the region between the stranding point (9) and the conical reversing sheave (7); e) the overtwist speed and the flyer speed are mutually adjusted at the same rotational speed ratio over the entire stranding process, including start-up as well as braking phase; f) to reduce its inner torsional tensions prior to being wound up, the stranded wire (15) is subjected to a defined increase in tensile force and to one or more overtwist and reforming processes and finally delivered at a constant take-up force to a controlled take-up stand (5).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur Vorformung von Stahldrähten, die rückdrehungsfrei von Drahtablaufspulen einer Verseileinrichtung ablaufen und nachfolgend in ein oder mehreren Lagen zu einer Stahldrahtlitze verseilt werden. Erfindungsgemäß wird bei Einhaltung einer 100%ig genauen und konstanten Ablaufspannung des Stahldrahtes (21) zwischen Drahtablaufspule (20) und Verseilpunkt (18) einer Verseileinrichtung (1), in Abhängigkeit vom Durchmesser "d 0 " des Stahldrahtes (21) auf den zu verseilenden Stahldraht (21) in bestimmten Etappen nacheinander eine derartige Kraftkomponente aufgebracht, dass im Ergebnis der Stahldraht (21) eine definierte und bleibende schraubenlinienförmige Gestalt annimmt, bei der die Ausdehnung einer Schraubenwindung in axialer und radialer Richtung derselben gesehen der gewünschten Schlaglänge "s" und dem radialen Abstand der späteren Lage zur Mittenachse des späteren Verseilverbandes und die Drahtlänge einer Schraubenwindung der wirklichen Drahtlänge "I" im späteren Verseilverband innerhalb der jeweiligen Lage entspricht.

Erfindungsgemäß wird bei Einhaltung einer 100%ig genauen und konstanten Ablaufspannung des Stahldrahtes (21) zwischen Drahtablaufspule (20) und Verseilpunkt (18) einer Verseileinrichtung (1), in Abhängigkeit vom Durchmesser "d 0 " des Stahldrahtes (21) auf den zu verseilenden Stahldraht (21) in bestimmten Etappen nacheinander eine derartige Kraftkomponente aufgebracht, dass im Ergebnis der Stahldraht (21) eine definierte und bleibende schraubenlinienförmige Gestalt annimmt, bei der die Ausdehnung einer Schraubenwindung in axialer und radialer Richtung derselben gesehen der gewünschten Schlaglänge "s" und dem radialen Abstand der späteren Lage zur Mittenachse des späteren Verseilverbandes und die Drahtlänge einer Schraubenwindung der wirklichen Drahtlänge "I" im späteren Verseilverband innerhalb der jeweiligen Lage entspricht.
