摘要： An assembly for electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding to prevent incident radiation from penetrating through a gap to an interior of an aircraft comprises an electromagnetic band gap (EBG) structure. The EBG structure has a patch-and-via array connected to a ground layer. The EMI shielding includes a conductive adhesive and is flexible for conforming attachment to curved aircraft surfaces. The shielding may be located on a deflector plate that is parallel to an adjacent aircraft surface, on the airframe surface opposite to the deflector plate, or in both locations. The assembly filters out penetrating electromagnetic energy and prevents highly resonant cavity mode buildups of electromagnetic energy inside a nacelle or other enclosure effectively protecting electrical equipment in the interior.

The collection circuit is operational to read the plurality of integrity cells, and assert a report signal that identifies the possible corruption in a subset of the logic circuits due to the ionizing radiation in response to reading an incorrect state in a neighboring one of the integrity cells.

摘要： An emergency oxygen system for an internal cabin of a vehicle includes a housing including one or more compartments. One or more oxygen assemblies include a mask and a fluid conduit. The mask is configured to be stowed within and deployed from the one or more compartments. A door is moveably secured to the housing. The door is configured to pivot in an outboard direction from a closed position to an open position during a deployment event. One or more pouches can be secured to an interior surface of the door. Coiled tubing of the fluid conduit is retained by the one or more pouches when the mask is stowed within the one or more compartments. An alert device can be operatively coupled to the one or more oxygen assemblies. The alert device is configured to emit a response indicating that oxygen is flowing to the mask.

The first web is welded to the second web. The aircraft include at least one FRTCSM. The methods include positioning the first thermoplastic sub-structure and the second thermoplastic sub-structure such that the first web faces the second web, compressing the first web and the second web together, and welding the first web and the second web to one another.

摘要： A system for radiographic inspection includes a line source that emits a fan shaped beam of x-rays and a linear x-ray detector that detects the fan shaped beam of x-rays. The system further includes a first movable platform that positions the line source to emit the fan shaped beam of x-rays towards the linear x-ray detector. A second movable platform positions the linear x-ray detector to detect the fan shaped beam of x-rays after transmission through the structure or component being inspected. Synchronized movement of the first movable platform and the second movable platform significantly reduces the time of inspection while the fan shaped beam of x-rays minimizes health risks. The system further includes a first filter that blocks x-rays below a first energy threshold, and a second filter that blocks x-rays below a second energy threshold. The filters provide the system the ability to inspect structures and components formed of multiple types of materials, for example, foreign object debris.
