A graft copolymer having a structure in which a vinyl copolymer segment formed from a vinyl monomer having an acid is suspended in a molecular chain of a polyolefin resin segment via a beta -substituted propylene group is obtained, by reaction of polyolefin resin having beta -substituted propenyl group as a pendant and a vinyl monomer having an acid, and further a graft copolymer composition containing the same and a molded product thereof are obtained. The obtained graft copolymer, the composition containing the same and the molded product thereof are excellent in adhesive property to a polar material and scratch resistance.

Disclosed is a thermoplastic elastomer composition obtained by dynamically crosslinking a composition composed of a component (A), a component (B) and a component (C) with 0.05-5 parts by mass of a crosslinking agent per 100 parts by mass of the component (A). The component (A) is 50-85 parts by mass of an acrylic rubber prepared by copolymerizing a monomer mixture mainly containing an alkyl acrylate and also containing 0.5-15% by mass of an epoxy group-containing monomer. The component (B) is 15-50 parts by mass of a thermoplastic polyester resin. The component (C) is 1-35 parts by mass of a graft copolymer or a precursor thereof per 100 parts by mass of the total of the components (A) and (B), and the graft copolymer is composed of an olefin polymer segment and a vinyl copolymer segment.

A graft copolymer composition which gives a molding retaining a satisfactory appearance over long and from which a molding less apt to be worn, marred, or bent can be easily molded. The graft copolymer composition comprises a graft copolymer of a multiphase structure as the main component and a lubricant comprising a fatty acid amide or alkylene oxide derivative. The graft copolymer comprises olefin polymer segments (a) and vinyl polymer segments (b), wherein particles of the segments of one polymer are dispersed in the segments of the other polymer. The particles have a diameter of 0.001 to 10 µm. The vinyl polymer segments (b) are formed from a polar vinyl monomer.

An aqueous dispersion-type sustained release preparation which contains a functional substance inside of its IPN is prepared by: a first step of emulsion copolymerization in which monomer components which comprise the one selected from (meth)acrylic ester monomers having a photo-initiating group (component a1) and radical-polymerizing organic peroxides (component a2), and also comprise a (meth)acrylic ester monomer (component b), a polyfunctional (meth)acrylic ester monomer (component c), and optionally, a hydrophilic monomer (component d) are used as well as a functional substance, a surface active agent, a polymerization initiator and water to obtain an emulsion; and a second step of polymerization in which a (meth)acrylic ester monomer (component e) and a polyfunctional (meth)acrylic ester monomer (component f) are added to the emulsion obtained in the first step.
