摘要: A method and device are disclosed from the perspective of a relay UE. Preferably, the relay UE establishes a Radio Resource Control, RRC, connection with a network node (2405). The relay UE also transmits a Layer 2 Identity, L2ID, of the relay UE to the network node (2410). Furthermore, the relay UE receives a local UE Identity, ID, for a remote UE and a L2ID of the remote UE from the network node (2415). In addition, the relay UE establishes a PC5 connection with the remote UE (2420). The relay UE further receives a first RRC Reconfiguration Complete message from the remote UE (2425). The relay UE also transmits the first RRC Reconfiguration Complete message to the network node, wherein the first RRC Reconfiguration Complete message is included in an adaptation layer Protocol Data Unit, PDU, for transmission and the local UE ID for the remote UE is included in a header of the adaptation layer PDU (2430).

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed. The first UE establishes a first sidelink Signaling Radio Bearer (SRB) for PC5-S message transmission if a unicast link or a PC5-Radio Resource Control (PC5-RRC) connection establishment is initiated, wherein the first sidelink SRB is associated with a default Destination Layer-2 Identity (ID) (1205). Also, the first UE transmits a first PC5-S message for the unicast link or the PC5-RRC connection establishment on the first sidelink SRB with a Source Layer-2 ID derived from a Layer-2 ID of the first UE and a Destination Layer-2 ID derived from the default Destination Layer-2 ID (1210). Furthermore, the first UE receives a second PC5-S message from a second UE, wherein the second PC5-S message is transmitted with a Source Layer-2 ID derived from a Layer-2 ID of the second UE and a Destination Layer-2 ID derived from the Layer-2 ID of the first UE (1215). In addition, the first UE establishes a second sidelink SRB for PC5-S message reception and/or transmission, wherein the second sidelink SRB is associated with the Layer-2 ID of the second UE (1220). Furthermore, the first UE establishes a third sidelink SRB for PC5-RRC message transmission if the unicast link or the PC5-RRC connection establishment has been successfully completed, wherein the third sidelink SRB is associated with the Layer-2 ID of the second UE (1225).

Responsive to determining that a number of carriers of a second plurality of carriers associated with derived transmissions of the PSFCHs exceeds the first number of carriers, the first UE may prioritize one or more PSFCHs of the PSFCHs based upon a rule (1225). The plurality of slots for transmitting the PSFCHs may be at least partially overlapped in the time domain.

The UE initializes a first state variable based on a partial Reordering_Window and a PDCP Sequence Number, SN, of the first received PDCP PDU, wherein the first state variable indicates the PDCP SN of a last PDCP Service Data Unit, SDU, delivered to the upper layers by a PDCP entity created for the SLRB, and the partial Reordering Window is less than a Reordering Window (1010). The UE performs a re-ordering procedure for the first PDCP PDU using the initialized first state variable (1015).

If the sidelink packet duplication is de-configured or disabled for the SLRB, a second PDCP PDU, corresponding to a second PDCP SDU, is transmitted. No duplicate of the second PDCP PDU is transmitted. A second PDCP SN of the second PDCP PDU is set based upon the one or more state variables used for sidelink transmission on the SLRB (1610).
