    摘要： The invention relates to a surgical retractor, in particular for retracting a divided sternum, comprising a first retention mechanism (12) and a second retention mechanism (14) which each have a retracting arm (16, 18) with at least one retention element (26) held thereon, a holding mechanism (28) for holding the retention mechanisms (12, 14) on each other, and a drive mechanism (46) with which the distance between the retracting arms (16, 18) along a retraction distance (20) can be changed in order to transfer to a retracting position. In order to provide a retractor of this type that is compact and easy to handle, the invention proposes that the retention mechanisms (12, 14) each have a holding arm (30, 32) connected to the respective retracting arm (16, 18), wherein both holding arms (30, 32) couple to the drive mechanism (46) and, by means of the latter, are displaceable relative to each other, and relative to the holding mechanism (28), along a displacement direction (20).

Erfindungsgemäß ist der Zugbügel oder Kralle quer, vorzugsweise in einem rechten Winkel, zur auszuübenden Zugkraft verschiebbar gelagert, wobei eine Feder relativ zu dem Zugbügel oder Kralle derart in einer Wirkposition angeordnet ist, dass diese erst bei einer vorbestimmten Betätigungsstellung des Betätigungshebels und demzufolge einer vorbestimmten/vorbestimmbaren Verschiebeposition des Zugbügels oder Kralle, in welcher diese(r) das Eingriffselement bereits hintergreift, eine Druckkraft auf den Zugbügel oder Kralle in Richtung der auszuübenden Zugkraft anlegt.

    摘要： The invention relates to a surgical retractor (10), particularly for the retraction of a separated sternum, with a holding device (12) and two spreader arms (14, 16), wherein the spreader arms are mounted with one end on the holding device, at a distance from each other that is adjustable in a spreading plane, and at least two retaining elements (50, 51) for retention of bone material, for example of the separated sternum, are arranged on each of the spreader arms. To develop this retractor for sternotomy in such a way as to permit gentler opening of the separated sternum, it is proposed that at least one of the retaining elements is mounted such that its position can be modified in the retraction direction with respect to that end of the spreader arm mounted on the holding device.
