The class divider includes a partition positioned immediately aft of a rear row of seats in a first predetermined class area of the aircraft cabin and an aft-facing panel having a width and height generally corresponding to a width and height of the rear row of seats. One or more passenger convenience features selected from the group of video monitors, tray tables, and magazine storage pockets are provided on the aft-facing panel for use by passengers seated immediately aft of the partition in a front row of a second predetermined class area of the aircraft cabin.

摘要: A passenger seat assembly and method for converting the seat assembly between a three- seat configuration and a two-seat configuration includes a seat assembly base and first, second, and third seats mounted on the seat assembly base. The first and third seats define outboard seats and the second seat defines an inboard seat disposed between the outboard seats. The seat back of the inboard seat includes an upper portion movably mounted to the lower portion. The seat bottom is removable and repositionable between the three-seat configuration and the two-seat configuration to form a convenience area between the outboard seats. A power console movably mounted on the seat assembly base supports the seat bottom of the inboard seat and provides at least one power outlet for supplying electrical power. In particular, the inboard seat is convertible between a seating configuration and a non-seating configuration.

摘要: A passenger arrangement for a vehicle includes a plurality of seats each having a backshell, a seat back, and a seat bottom. The seat back and the seat bottom are selectively movable in a coordinated manner from an upright seating position to at least one alternate seating position. The seats are disposed within a vehicle separated by a selected pitch equal to or greater than about 71 cm and less than about 140 cm in a fore-and-aft direction, such that each passenger is allotted a preselected volume of living space defined between the backshell of the passenger's seat and the backshell of the seat immediately forward of the passenger's seat. The living space of each passenger remains fixed regardless of the seating position of any of the seats.
