摘要： The aim of the invention is to provide a device and a method which makes it possible to filter fine and superfine particles from the dishwashing fluid of a dishwasher. This aim is attained by the device and method according to the invention for filtering particles from a dishwashing fluid of a dishwasher. The inventive device comprises a container (1) into which a predetermined quantity of a liquid (2) is introduced to which a foam-producing substance is added. The container comprises means (5) by means of which a gaseous fluid flows through the liquid to which the foam-producing substance is added, thereby producing a float (3) on the liquid to which the foam-producing substance is added. Said float has filtering properties so that a substantial part of the particles is filtered out in the float and remains in the float.

摘要： The aim of the invention is to provide a dishwasher comprising a filter system and to a method for operating the same, which makes it possible to more effectively remove the residues carried along in the dishwashing fluid and to improve ease of maintenance of the dishwasher. For this purpose, at least a part of the dishwashing fluid from the dishwashing cycle of the dishwashing machine is led through a foam volume (11) so that the residues contained in the dishwashing fluid are at least partially absorbed or retained by the foam volume. The dishwashing liquid so cleaned is then returned to the dishwashing cycle of the dishwasher and the foam volume containing the retained residues is discharged from the dishwasher. In this manner, the fine-grained dirt particles can be filtered out of the dishwashing fluid, a resoiling of the dishwashing fluid or the items to be cleaned can be minimized and the dishwashing result can be improved. Further advantages of the dishwasher and the method according to the invention are that the need for laborious cleaning of the filter is eliminated and the power and water requirements of the dishwasher are reduced.
