摘要： The invention relates to a device for feeding a liquid additive from a container (1) into a fuel line (2) or into an exhaust gas line (2) of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, by means of a closeable feed line (4) leading into at least on of the above mentioned lines and by means of a pump (15) which at least temporarily generates the delivery pressure in the feed line (4). The container (1) can be filled with additives, via a closeable connection line (10), from a large reservoir (11) that is also accommodated in the motor vehicle. The invention is characterised in that the feed line (4) branches off from the connection line (10) between the container (1) and the reservoir (11) such that the pump (15) is built into the connection line (10) in the container (1) or between the container (1) and the branch of the feed line (4), and that the connection line (10) can be closed in the reservoir (11) or between the reservoir (11) and the branch of the feed line (4).

Said container can be filled with additives, via a connection line (10), from a large reservoir (11) also housed in the motor vehicle. The invention is characterised in that the pump (15) is built into the container or into the connection line enabling a heating device (9) for heating at least one part volume of the additive to be provided in the container, and that a closeable return flow line (14) in the container branches off between the pump and the closeable element (12).
