Abstract: The present invention relates to a clipping device, comprising a pair of clip arms extending from proximal ends to distal ends, the proximal ends connected to a yoke slidably received within a channel of a capsule to move the clip arms between a tissue receiving configuration, in which the distal ends of the clip arms are separated from one another, and a tissue clipping configuration, in which the distal ends of the clip arms are drawn toward one another, the channel of the capsule including a proximal portion and a distal portion, the distal portion extending distally from the proximal portion and flaring outward in a single plane to form opposing flared sections, a portion of the yoke deforming into one of the flared sections to receive an enlarged distal end of a control member therein.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure include methods and systems for attaching an articulation section. Hereby disclosed is an adapter (300) for an articulation section (30). The first ledge (322) includes a bend configured to support the bend portion (116) of the first articulation elongate member (111, 112). A t least one channel (326) extends from the first side cavity (320) toward the second, proximal end (304) of the body (301). The at least one channel (326) is configured to receive portions of the first articulation elongate member (111, 112) that are attached to the bend portion (116); and a first anchoring member (330) configured to fixedly attach the bend portion (116) of the first articulation elongate member (111, 112) to the body (301).

Abstract: A device for treating a tissue opening includes a capsule extending longitudinally from a proximal end to a distal end and including a lumen extending therethrough; a pair of arms movably housed within the lumen of the capsule such that the pair of arms are movable between an open configuration and a closed configuration, the pair of arms being biased toward the open configuration such that when the pair of arms are moved distally with respect to the capsule, distal ends of the pair of arms are separated from one another to receive target tissue therebetween; a needle releasably connected to a first one of the pair of arms, the needle extending laterally inward toward a second one of the pair of arms and including a connecting structure extending along a portion thereof, the second one of the pair of arms including an opening located so that, when the pair of arms are moved to the closed configuration, the connecting structure of the needle engages the opening; and a suture extending from a portion of the needle proximally through the capsule.
