    摘要： There is an image processing system which inputs and edits image data including document data and prints and displays a document with figures with a beautiful style. This system comprises: an output device which can output the image data including document data; a parameter adding device to add output parameters to edit the image data outputted by the output device; and an edition control unit which can edit, as a headline, at least a part of the image data outputted by the output device on the basis of the parameters added by the para­meter adding device. These parameters include data such as position, size, character style, and the like of the headline. With this system, arbitrary information such as headline, catchword, line number, page number, caption, or the like can be extremely easily arranged at any position of the image data displayed on the CRT and the document with such information can be printed as a beauti­ful style. Also, the document and figure data can be freely edited.

    摘要： An image processing apparatus is disclosed which inputs/outputs an image in which image data items having different information quantity for one pixel are mixed to one another. The information quantity for each of the image data items and information about the I/O positions are stored in a corresponding manner. When data is inputted, data is converted into each of the information quantities in accordance with the input position so as to be stored. When data is outputted, the stored image data is converted into output data in accordance with each of the information quantities. As a result, the memory capacity can be reduced, the flexibility can be improved at the time of use and the memory can be used efficiently.

    摘要： There is disclosed an apparatus comprising:
    input means for inputting multi-value data having gradation; identifying means for identifying a tone-graphic part and a line-image part from data inputted through said input means; and output means for combining the tone-graphic part and the line-image part and outputting thus combined data. By this means data representing tone-graphic and line image parts of an image are identified, processed and combined to reproduce the image. There is detailed an apparatus including a multi-level converter for converting multi-level value image data into bi-level value image data and vice versa, a resolution converter operated in synchronism with the multi-level converter to convert a resolution of the multi-level value image data, an area data memory for storing area data corresponding to an instruction input representing a multi-level or bi-level value image area, and an output device for selecting the multi-level value image data from the resolution converter or the multi-level value image data from the multi-level converter on the basis of the area data and for outputting selected data to an image output device.
