摘要： There is disclosed an apparatus for image reading or processing, that can precisely identify the pattern of a particularly pattern, such as of banknotes or securities of which faithful copying is to be prohibited. The apparatus is provided with a detecting unit for detecting the positional information of the original image, and a discriminating unit for extracting the pattern data of a certain part of the original image and discriminating whether the original image is the predetermined image, based on the similarly between the pattern data and a predetermined pattern.

摘要： This invention provides a motor control apparatus which can control the speeds of a plurality of motors with nearly no speed variations until the final target speed is reached. In the arrangement of a motor control apparatus for controlling driving of a plurality of motors, the speed range up to the final target speed is divided into n steps (n is an integer within the range n ≥ 2) to set a target speed, and the next divided target speed is set after all the motors have reached the current divided target speed.
