摘要: A method of controlling a propulsion system of a utility or agricultural vehicle, wherein the propulsion system comprises a prime mover (E) and a hydraulic transmission (HY) including a variable displacement pump (HP) configured to be driven in rotation by the prime mover and a variable displacement hydraulic motor (HM), operatively connected to the pump by means of a forward hydraulic line (F) and a return one (R), the method providing for monitoring of the (Chk 1) lever inclination of accelerator that exceeds a limit position (AL) and of the (Chk 2) rotation speed of the prime mover is equal to or greater than said limit speed (SL), and when said conditions are simultaneously verified the method foresees (Tr1) switching of the system from a first (ST1) operating mode in which the accelerator controls the rotation speed of the prime mover to a second operating mode (ST2) in which the accelerator controls the hydraulic pump m while the motor is operated at a fixed speed.
