The aim of said invention is to develop a system which makes it possible to provide a reliable operation of a fuel cell by optimising the efficiency thereof with the aid of the gas diffusion layer. For this purpose, a system comprising two gas diffusion layers and a method for producing a gas diffusion layer are also disclosed.
