The end cap assembly (23) includes an end cap (233) and a pressure relief mechanism (234). The pressure relief mechanism (234) is connected to the end cap (233). The pressure relief mechanism (234) is configured to: keep in a first pressure relief state when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell (20) is greater than or equal to a first threshold and less than a second threshold, so as to release the internal pressure of the battery cell (20); and keep in a second pressure relief state when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell (20) is greater than or equal to the second threshold, so as to release the internal pressure of the battery cell (20). A pressure relief area in the first pressure relief state is smaller than a pressure relief area in the second pressure relief state. The pressure can be released rapidly when the internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell (20) is relatively high, thereby improving the pressure relief capability and ensuring the internal pressure to be constant at all times. Without needing to reserve a gas storage space, the pressure relief mechanism (234) does not occupy an internal space of the battery cell (20), and does not affect the energy density of the battery cell (20).

摘要: The embodiments of the present application provide an end cover, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric apparatus, relating to the technical field of batteries. The end cover comprises a cover body and an arc-shaped groove. The arc-shaped groove is provided in the cover body, and the cover body is configured to crack along the arc-shaped groove when a pressure or temperature in the battery cell reaches a threshold, such that the pressure in the battery cell is released. A depth of the arc-shaped groove is gradually increased from the middle of the arc-shaped groove to the two ends of the arc-shaped groove. In this way, a residual thickness of the cover body at the position where the arc-shaped groove is arranged is gradually increased from the two ends of the arc-shaped groove to the middle of the arc-shaped groove, such that an anti-damage capability of the cover body at the middle of the arc-shaped groove is increased, the risk that the end cover starts to relieve the pressure before the pressure in the battery cell reaches an initiation pressure is reduced, and the service life of the battery cell is prolonged.

摘要: This application provides a degassing apparatus, a battery cell, a battery, and an electric apparatus. The degassing apparatus includes a degassing body, a breathable member, and a protection member. The breathable member and the protection member are disposed at the degassing body, and the protection member is disposed on a side of the breathable member back away from an electrode assembly of the battery cell. The protection member is provided with a through-hole, and a gas channel in communication with the first through-hole is formed between the breathable member and the protection member. The breathable member is configured for gas to pass through when pressure in the battery cell reaches a first threshold, such that the gas passes through the gas channel and the first through-hole to be discharged outside the battery cell. A projection of the first through-hole in an axial direction and a projection of the breathable member in the axial direction are staggered. In the degassing apparatus provided in this application, the projection of the first through-hole in the axial direction and the projection of the breathable member in the axial direction are staggered, reducing the possibility that external impurities damage the breathable member after entering the degassing apparatus, thus effectively improving the safety of the battery cell during operation.

The tabs extend through the avoiding portion to realize the fixed connection between the tabs and the connecting component.
