    摘要: A shearing type of gate valve (10) having a sleeve (44) of hard wear resistant material in the opening (42) through the gate and coacting with insert rings (46, 48) of hard, wear resistant material in the seat rings (34, 36) for shearing a wire line (50) or tubular member extending through the valve and the gate. The sleeve and insert ring are assembled with the gate and the seat rings in a manner to provide sufficient compression preload thereon so that they are not subjected to tension loads which avoids chipping, breaking or other damage to the sleeve and the insert rings. Preferably the sleeve and insert rings are of tungsten carbide. In two modified forms of the present invention an insert sleeve of hardened, wear resistant material is provided in the opening of the gate and an insert ring of hardened, wear resistant material is provided in one of the seat rings so that the only a single shearing of the cable element is provided so that the short section is not created in the shearing and left in the opening through the gate while it is closed.

A valve seat (20) surrounds the opening of the outlet into the valve chamber, and a valve member (30) is mounted within said body to move toward and away from said valve seat to control flow therethrough. Means are provided for moving the valve member in the body. The valve member (30) has a stem (32) and a replaceable, wear-resistant tip (42) which is provided with a sleeve insert (48) secured within the stem opening and has internal threads which mate with external threads on the end of the stem. The tip recess includes a groove (62) into which a portion of the sleeve insert is swaged to secure it tightly into the tip.

The first movable magnet (18) has its poles arranged so that it is attracted to said tubular magnet and the second movable magnet has its poles arranged so that it is repelled by the tubular magnet, the nearness of a ferrous metal (46) to the end of said housing containing said first magnet moving the two magnets and the blade to change the position of the switch, and the adjusting of the position of said annular magnet changing the flux from the end of the housing containing the first magnet to adjust the distance at which a ferrous metal causes the change of position of the switch blade.
