摘要: A process for production of 2-fluorocyclopropane-1 -carboxylic esters, characterized by reacting a compound represented by the general formula (1) with a reducing agent in the presence of a phase transfer catalyst: (1) [wherein X is chloro, bromo, or iodo; and R1 is alkyl having 1 to 8 carbon atoms, aryl having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, alkenyl having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, or aralkyl composed of aryl having 6 to 12 carbon atoms and alkylene having 1 to 6 carbon atoms]. According to the process, the reaction time of dehalogenation can be remarkably shortened.
