摘要： An elastomeric fluoroterpolymer which is suitable for use as a hose or in oil seal for automotive engine oils, has sufficient amine resistance while retaining heat, oil, and chemical resistance and other properties nearly comparable to those of conventional fluororubbers, and is capable of polyol vulcanization. It comprises 10 to 85 mol% ethylene units, 14.9 to 50 mol% hexafluoropropylene units, and 0.1 to 45 mol% vinylidene fluoride units.

摘要： A process for producing a fluoropolymer which comprises polymerizing one or more radical-polymerizable monomers comprising at least one fluoroolefin monomer in the presence of a free-radical polymerization initiator and optionally of an inactive fluorocarbon and a chain transfer agent in a polymerization system where at least one of the components thereof is in a supercritical state. By the process, the polymer is prevented from undergoing generation of unstable terminal groups or a decrease in purity, and a complicated post-treatment, etc. are eliminated.

摘要： A vulcanizable fluoroelastomer composition from which a vulcanizate reduced in compression set can be produced in a short time and which is excellent in molding stability and suitability for kneading. It comprises a fluoroelastomer having C-H bonds in the polymer chain, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization aid, wherein the optimum vulcanization time for the composition, T90 (min), and the compression set of the vulcanizate, CS (%), satisfy the following relationships (I) and (II): Relationship (I): CS ≤ -3.45Ln (T90) + 22.8-4 x 10-5 x MW, provided that 50,000 ≤ MW ≤ 200,000; and Relationship (II): CS ≤ 3.45Ln (T¿90?) + 14.8, provided that 200,000 ≤ MW.

摘要： A process for producing a composition comprising an elastic fluorocopolymer, a vulcanizing agent, and a vulcanization accelerator, which comprises the steps of coagulating an elastic fluorocopolymer in an aqueous dispersion thereof, collecting the copolymer coagulate, and drying the coagulate while kneading it, and in which a compatibilized mixture of a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanization accelerator is added to the coagulate. Thus, a fluororubber composition can be obtained in which the vulcanizing agent and the vulcanization accelerator are evenly dispersed in the fluororubber and which gives a vulcanizate having stable properties.
