摘要： The invention is directed to a new method for the treatment of new onset Type I diabetes in mammals or for the treatment of pre-Type I diabetic mammals where the method comprises administering (a) anti-T cell therapy to the mammal and administering (b) an autoantigen and optional mucosal antigen composition, wherein (a) and (b) are administered concurrently or sequentially Exemplified is a treatment using a mixture of anti-CD3 antibodies, a glutamic acid decarboxylase (GAD) autoantigen, and an immunoregulatory cytokine Canme GAD sequences are also disclosed.
