摘要： A power transmission device, such as a torque converter or hydraulic coupling, for transmission of power by utilizing kinetic energy of fluid, in which fluid is used as a medium for transmission of power and kinetic energy imparted to fluid by a prime mover is derived as rotary power, wherein water is fed as working fluid to a coupling section composed of an impeller (10) and a runner (11), water is fed as lubricating fluid to bearings (8, 9) supporting an input shaft (7) and an output shaft (16) coupled respectively to the impeller (10) and runner (11), and water is fed as working fluid for hydraulic servo which controls a scoop tube (14) regulating the amount of water in the coupling section.
