Abstract: A rubber composition that can improve the abrasion resistance of a tire is provided. In the rubber composition, the sulfur-containing hydrocarbon polymer is a reaction product of sulfur and a polymer of an unsaturated hydrocarbon, and the unsaturated hydrocarbon includes an alicyclic unsaturated compound, and the sulfur-containing hydrocarbon polymer has a weight-average molecular weight of 500 or more and 4000 or less.
