摘要： A method and apparatus for adjusting the positions of switch members (DG, DLS) such as a deceleration limit switch (DLS) installed on a machine tool in a numerical control system for controlling the machine tool on the basis of numerical control data and for executing predetermined numerical control processing on the basis of signals produced by the switch members (DG, DLS). When the switch member such as the limit switch (DLS) is actuated, a display device displays the current position of a movable member (TB) on the machine tool, or a numerical value corresponding to the current position of the movable member (TB). Whether the switch member (DG or DLS) is installed on the machine tool at the correct position is determined on the basis of the displayed current position or numerical value corresponding thereto. When it is determined that the switch member (DG or DLS) is installed at the incorrect position, the switch member (DG or DLS) is positionally adjusted on the basis of the indication given by the display advice.

摘要： The apparatus controls the position of the movable part (MC) driven by the motor (M) in dependence upon fed back positional information, from a position detector (R1, R2), indicative of the position of the part (MC) and in dependence upon motor velocity information, from a velocity detector (T1). and in accordance with commanded-position information, from a control unit (CONT), to bring the movable part (MC) to a desired position.
In addition, the motor (M) is driven in dependence upon a difference signal (output of adder AD5) which indicates any discrepancy between the motor velocity information (from T1) and the actual velocity of the movable part (MC) as derived by a detector (T2, R2 and FV) coupled to that part.
In this way the adverse effects of the vibrations of the movable part as the desired position is reached can be reduced to suppressed.
The method of controlling the position of the movable part (MC) also involves driving the motor (M) in dependence upon the difference signal.
