摘要： In an automotive suspension, a supporting member (15) supporting a wheel hub (14) is connected mechanically to a frame (2) of a car (1) to move in a vertical direction (18) with respect to the frame (2); movement of the supporting member (15) in the vertical direction (18) is opposed by a spring-shock absorber assembly (19) connected mechanically on one side to the frame (2) of the car (1), and on the other side to the supporting member (15) by means of a coupling device (22) of variable geometry, which is controlled selectively by an actuator (32) for varying the geometry of the coupling device (22) in such a manner as to vary a suspension ratio between vertical movement of the supporting member (15) and a corresponding variation in length of the spring-shock absorber assembly (19).
