摘要： The invention relates to a method for producing an exhaust gas conducting device, particularly an exhaust gas cleaning device, and a tool provided therefor, wherein the segment-like jaws utilized for deforming the outer housing (10) have indentations (22) or projections adjoining each other, which are complementary to a peripheral indentation/projection. The reshaped outer housing (10) is provided with one or more peripheral projections (18) or indentations by the deformation.
