摘要: The invention relates to an optical arrangement having - a division element which divides an input beam consisting of a sequence of temporally equidistant light pulses into two spatially separate partial beams, - at least one optical element through which at least one of the partial beams propagates, and - at least one combination element which spatially superimposes the partial beams in an output beam. The problem addressed by the invention is that of showing a method for increasing the pulse energy of light pulses which is improved in comparison with the prior art. The invention solves this problem by virtue of the fact that the combination element superimposes a number of the temporally successive light pulses in a single light pulse in the output beam. The invention also relates to a method for increasing the pulse energy of light pulses.

摘要: The invention relates to an optical resonator (1), comprising at least one optical element (2), which reflects or transmits laser radiation, preferably pulsed laser radiation. The aim of the invention is to create a practical possibility of coupling pulsed laser radiation out of or into a resonator (1). The invention achieves said aim in that the optical element (2) can be switched, wherein in a first switching position the laser radiation is reflected or transmitted in such a way that that the laser radiation circulates in the resonator (1), and wherein in a second switching position the laser radiation is coupled out of the resonator (1) or the laser radiation emitted by an external radiation source is coupled into the resonator (1).

摘要: The invention relates to an optical array comprising a splitting element (1) which splits an input beam (E) into at least two partial beams (T1, T2, T3, T4), at least one optical element (V1, V2, V3, V4, MV) through which at least one of the partial beams (T1, T2, T3, T4) propagates, and at least one combining element (4) which spatially superimposes the partial beams (T1, T2, T3, T4) into an output beam (A). The problem addressed by the invention is to provide an optical array which is improved over the prior art and which enables an effective and simple splitting of the input beam, in particular a laser beam with pulsed or continuous emission. The invention solves the problem in that the splitting element (1) and/or the combining element (4) each have a partially reflective element (2, 2') which reflects the radiation of the input beam (E) or of the output beam (A) two or more times, wherein the partially reflective element (2, 2') has zones (a, b, c, d) of differing reflectivity.

摘要: The invention relates to an optical amplifier arrangement for amplifying ultra-short pulsed laser radiation comprising a mode-locked laser (1) and two or more optical amplifiers (3) arranged downstream of the laser (1) in the propagation direction of the laser radiation. Optical amplifier arrangements of this type are known in the prior art. Here the intention is to present an alternative to the known amplifier arrangements. The invention proposes arranging between the laser (1) and the optical amplifiers (3) at least one splitting element (2) which splits the pulsed laser radiation between a plurality of amplifier channels (4), wherein each amplifier channel (4) has at least one optical amplifier (3), and wherein at least one common combination element (5) is disposed downstream of the amplifier channels (4) and coherently superimposes the pulsed laser radiation amplified in the amplifier channels (4).

摘要: The invention relates to a device for producing light pulses, comprising a pulsed light source (5) which emits a sequence of light pulses, an enhancement resonator (7) into which the light pulses emitted by the pulsed light source (5) are coupled, and a modulator (9) which couples at least one light pulse (10) circulating in the enhancement resonator (7) out of the enhancement resonator (7). The aim of the invention is to provide a device that is improved with respect to the prior art, by means of which device especially powerful light pulses can be produced. Said aim is achieved in that the pulsed light source (5) operates in a burst mode in such a manner that the pulsed light source (5) emits a sequence of pulse packets (6), which each comprise two or more consecutive light pulses. The invention further relates to a device for producing light pulses, comprising a pulsed light source (5) which emits a sequence of light pulses, an optical amplifying medium (17) which is optically pumped by the light pulses and produces useful radiation (21) as a result, and a multi-pass assembly (19) which ensures that the useful radiation (21) passes through the optical amplifying medium (17) several times. The pulsed light source (5) operates in a burst mode in such a manner that the pulsed light source (5) emits a sequence of pulse packets (6) that each comprise two or more consecutive light pulses.
