摘要: A radiation detector assembly including an organic photodetector that generate charge in response to an incident radiation, a thin film transistor array including a plurality of pixels. The plurality of pixels may produce electric signals corresponding to the charge generated by the organic photodetector. The radiation detector assembly also includes a spacer disposed on the thin film transistor array. The spacer surrounds one or more pixels and may confine the organic photodetector within the surrounded one or more pixels such that the surrounded one or more pixels are electrically isolated from a neighboring pixel.

摘要: An x-ray detector 300 may comprise: a moisture-impermeable substrate 320 including a non-monolithic conductive portion integrated with a monolithic dielectric portion; a scintillator 315 and an array of CMOS tiles 310 positioned between the scintillator 315 and the substrate 320; a cover 330 positioned on the substrate 320 and forming a seal 340 therebetween that semi-hermetically encloses the scintillator 315 and the array of CMOS tiles 310 in a covered sealed region; and analog-to-digital electronics 360 conductively coupled to the array of CMOS tiles 310 and to the conductive portion, wherein the conductive portion transmits signals from the covered sealed region to beyond the seal 340 without disrupting a semi-hermeticity of the seal 340. In this way, sealing of multiply-tiled CMOS image array detectors within a single x-ray detector 300 can be more simply and reliably achieved. Figure 3A

摘要: An x-ray detector 200 comprises: a housing, including a cover 230 removably fastened on a flange 220 of a flanged base and forming a semi-hermetic seal 240 therebetween, the flanged base including a bottom surface 228 and the flange 220 surrounding a perimeter of the bottom surface 228; and an x-ray imager positioned on the bottom surface 228, the x-ray imager including a scintillator 215 and an image sensor 210, wherein the seal 240 semi-hermetically encloses the x-ray imager in the housing, and is positioned nonadjacently to surfaces in contact with the x-ray imager. In this way, a simpler and less costly seal for a digital x-ray panel can be provided; furthermore, the seal 240 is reusable and resealable, facilitating repair and refurbishment of the device.
