Abstract:
A digital information recording-reproducing apparatus is disclosed, in which the recording means records a digital information signal and a control code. The reproducing means detects the control code when the digital information signal is reproduced, and only outputs the digital information signal if the detected control code satifies a predetermined condition. The control code may specify the data type, a time period, or user or apparatus identifier. The control code may include information for decrypting an encrypted digital information signal.
Abstract:
A transmitting method of digital data whereby information data can be reproduced at a high precision. In order to retain digital data in sectors comprising a plurality of sync frames and sequentially transmit, the sync frame is comprised of the sync signal and the run length limited code which satisfies the limitations of the minimum run length and the maximum run length, and the sync signal includes the sync pattern constituted by a bit pattern of a run length that is longer than the maximum run length by only 3T and addition bit patterns which are arranged before and after the bit pattern and each of which has a run length that is longer than the minimum run length. The sync signal includes a specific code which indicates a position in the sector and which enables the DC control to be performed.
Abstract:
At recording of a video signal, with electronic watermark information being embedded therein, on a recording medium, a reference signal which is formed differently from the watermark information is inserted to the video signal. At reproduction of the video signal, the luminance of the watermark information is modified based on the reference signal.
Abstract:
In a data transmission method for information data containing additional information data therewith, comprising, at a transmitter side, following steps:
adding error correction codes for correcting error to said additional information data; embedding said additional information data added with said error correction codes into the information data by plural times, repetitively; and transmitting the information data embedded with the repetitive additional information data therein, and comprising, at a receiver side, following steps: receiving the transmitted information data embedded with the repetitive additional information data therein; detecting the repetitive additional information data embedded from said transmitted information data received; determining said additional information data on a basis of a majority rule when receiving said information data; and correcting error with using the error correction codes received and determined when said additional information data contains error(s) therein.
Abstract:
A recording method is provided for a video tape recording apparatus having modes for recording PCM audio signals in a plurality of transmission rates. Index codes (104) for a video signal, which enable a search reproduction and so on, are recorded on a video tape in a constant transmission rate irrespective of the transmission rate of a PCM audio signal to be recorded. Further, an amble pattern (501) at the same frequency as the transmission rate of the PCM audio signal is recorded immediately behind the PCM signal recording area (102). A reproducing apparatus may be provided only with an index detecting circuit (603) corresponding to the constant transmission rate.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a VTR of the helical scan type having a plurality of rotary magnetic heads (38 to 43). This VTR can select one of a first and a second signal recording forms which are different from each other, and record signals on a magnetic tape (44, 60). In the first recording form, a frequency-modulated video signal including a luminance signal and a color signal and a frequency-modulated sound signal are recorded on the same track so as to be superimposed one on the other. In the second signal recording form, a frequency-modulated luminance signal and a frequency-modulated color signal are recorded separately on tracks adjacent to each other. This VTR has compatibility with respect to the record- ingireproducing of two different signals.
