    摘要: A magneto-optical information recording/reproducing apparatus in which a magneto-optical information recording medium (1) at least including a first magnetic film having magneto-optical information recorded on a track and having perpendicular magnetic anisotropy, and a second magnetic film to which the magneto-optical information recorded on the first magnetic film is transferred by irradiation of a laser beam, is used so that a readout laser beam is irradiated onto the second magnetic film to thereby readout the magneto-optical information transferred to the second magnetic film. The apparatus includes a 2-split detection circuit (18) constituted by two detection elements (18a, 18b) for receiving the readout laser beam reflected from the second magnetic film of the magneto-optical information recording medium, and a subtraction circuit (19) in which output signals of the two detection elements of the 2-split detection circuit having levels corresponding to the quantities of light received by the two detection elements respectively are subtracted from each other to generate a differential signal expressing the difference between the output signals. The apparatus further comprises a circuit (22, 23) for making a spot of the laser beam jump one track before readout of the magneto-optical information from the magneto-optical information recording medium, a positive/negative balance correction circuit (20) for detecting an amplitude ratio between positive and negative side amplitudes in a track jump signal generated in the differential signal from the subtraction circuit in response to the track jump to thereby output a correction signal in accordance with the amplitude ratio, and an addition circuit (21) for adding the correction signal to the differential signal to thereby generate a tracking error signal for tracking control used in readout of the magneto-optical information from the magneto-optical information recording medium.

    摘要: An optical information recording/reproducing apparatus comprises signal recording means (7; 11) for recording a signal on a recording film of a recording medium (1) by rising temperature of the recording film through illumination with a writing laser beam (7), signal reproducing means (14, 8, 2, 3, 9, 10, 15, 16) for reproducing the signal by illuminating with a reading laser beam (8) the recording film of the record­ing medium (1) in which the signal is recorded, an optical system (12, 6, 4, 3, 2) provided in common to both the writing laser beam and the reading laser beam. The signal recorded on the recording film is reproduced substantially simultaneously with the recording of the signal for allowing confirmation of the signal having been recorded. A modulating circuit (20) is provided for modulating intensity of the writing laser beam (7) with a frequency at least twice as high as the maximum frequency of the signal to be recorded.

    摘要: An optical recording medium driving apparatus is disclosed which comprises a light source (1), an objective lens (6) for focusing light onto a reflecting surface (11a) of the recording medium, a beam splitter (41) for separating reflective convergent beam, and detectors (9, 10) for detecting separated beams of the reflective convergent beam flux. Two beam separation surfaces (41a,41b) are formed in the beam splitter and are located on an optical path extending from the light source to the objective lens. The two detectors are arranged corresponding to the respective beam separation surfaces of the beam splitter. The two detector are disposed so that one of the two separated beams of the reflective convergent beam flux is focused before one of the detectors and the other of the two separated beams is focused after the other of the detectors.
