    摘要: There is provided an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus that can classify an elasticity image by using elasticity data of the elasticity image and image information and objectively estimate a progress state of a disorder. The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus has an elasticity information calculator for calculating elasticity data of a biomedical tissue by using RF signal frame data from the inside of an object which is received by ultrasonic wave transmitting/receiving means, an elasticity image constructing unit for generating an elasticity image on the basis of a distortion amount and/or an elasticity modulus calculated by an elasticity information calculator, an elasticity image estimating unit 11 for generating estimation data for estimating the characteristic of a biomedical tissue on the basis of an elasticity image, and an image classifying unit 12 for classifying an elasticity image by using at least one of estimation data generated by the elasticity image estimating unit 11. A classification result of the classifying unit 12 is displayed on a display unit through a switching and displaying unit 14.

    摘要: A pressing device for smoothly performing pressing operation, an ultrasonic probe, and an ultrasonic diagnosis device. The pressing device has a balloon used installed on an ultrasonic transmission/reception surface of an ultrasonic probe and presses a subject by the balloon. The balloon has a hollow pressing section made of an elastic material, a tube for placing and discharging liquid from the pressing section, and an installation section contiguous to the peripheral edge of the pressing section and installing the pressing section onto the ultrasonic transmission/reception section of the ultrasonic probe. The inner diameter of the installation section or the pressing section is set smaller than the outer diameter of that section of the ultrasonic probe on which the installation section or the pressing section is installed. Because tension is applied to the pressing section, pressing operation can be started with a less amount of initial injection, and this makes the pressing operation smooth.

    摘要: Considering that the frequency of the response signal from a contrast medium is distributed over a wide frequency range and the strength of the response signal is great, an ultrasonic enhanced-contrast imager is provided with a bandpass filter (34) for extracting a specific frequency component from a response signal received when an ultrasonic wave is radiated to an organism tissue containing a contrast medium. The imager is further provided with a means for limiting the bandwidth to a range from 1.2 f0 to 1.8 f0, not limiting it to the second harmonic 2f0 like in the prior art and a means for adding/subtracting the response signal obtained by applying a beam of ultrasonic wave of a first transmission waveform in a direction to/from the response signal obtained by applying in the same direction a beam of ultrasonic wave of a second transmission waveform the amplitude and frequency of which are modulated differently from those of the first transmission waveform. The response signal from the organic tissue can be discriminated from the second harmonic component contained in the response signal, and thereby the distribution of the contrast medium is clearly shown in the image.
