    摘要: Embodiments of this application disclose an electronic device control method and an electronic device. In the method, after receiving a first touch operation for a first touch area, the electronic device determines, based on a first mapping relationship, second coordinates having a mapping relationship with first coordinates of the first touch operation. The second coordinates are located in the second touch area. Then, the electronic device executes a response corresponding to the second coordinates. By touching the first touch area, the electronic device can execute a function that needs to be executed when the second touch area is touched. In this way, touching on the second touch area is replaced with touching on the first touch area, to further reduce blocking of the second touch area. In addition, in the solution in the embodiments of this application, a joypad does not need to be additionally configured for the electronic device. This resolves a conventional-technology problem of high costs and inconvenience of carrying because the joypad needs to be configured.

    摘要: Embodiments of this application relate to the field of electronic technologies, and provide a touch operation method and a device, so that in a scenario in which an electronic device is held with one hand, response processing can be performed for a touch operation on a side edge of the electronic device, and a finger of a user does not need to reach a control in a middle region of a screen to perform an operation. Therefore, an operation amplitude of the finger can be shortened, a one-hand operation of the user can be facilitated, and user experience can be improved. A specific solution is as follows: The touch operation method is applied to an electronic device having a curved screen, where the curved screen includes a side edge of the electronic device. After detecting that the side edge is touched, the electronic device determines a target region, where the target region is a contact region of a user on the side edge in a holding mode. The electronic device prompts a location of the target region. After detecting a touch operation performed by the user on the target region, the electronic device performs a corresponding response operation for the touch operation. Embodiments of this application are applied to the touch operation.
