The present invention provides a method for setting a fingerprint sensor interrupt threshold, an apparatus, and a terminal device. A provided dynamic interrupt threshold may enable a fingerprint sensor to adapt to different weather conditions and hardware environments, to improve recognition efficiency and recognition accuracy in recognizing fingerprints of different users. The method is: obtaining background noise of a wakeup region on a fingerprint sensor in a terminal device, where the wakeup region is a region for detecting whether the fingerprint sensor is touched; adding a preset safety margin to the background noise, to obtain a first threshold; and determining, according to the first threshold and a preset safety value, an interrupt threshold for the fingerprint sensor to generate an interrupt signal, where the interrupt threshold is used to instruct the fingerprint sensor to generate an interrupt signal, so as to wake up a central processing unit CPU of the terminal device, and the safety value is used to prevent the fingerprint sensor from erroneously triggering an interrupt signal to wake up the CPU.

A specific solution is as follows: The touch operation method is applied to an electronic device having a curved screen, where the curved screen includes a side edge of the electronic device. After detecting that the side edge is touched, the electronic device determines a target region, where the target region is a contact region of a user on the side edge in a holding mode. The electronic device prompts a location of the target region. After detecting a touch operation performed by the user on the target region, the electronic device performs a corresponding response operation for the touch operation.
