As deoxysugars, the compounds preferably contain fucose, rhamnose or mixtures thereof at a concentration of between 0.1 and 10 weight percent. The cosmetic compounds prepared according to the invention increase the vitality of the skin and significantly reduce the release of pro-inflammatory mediators.
