摘要:
Novel water-free initial products are disclosed for use in producing washing, rinsing and cleaning agents, containing (a) alkyl- and/or alkenyl oligoglycosides and (b) alkylpolyalkylene glycol ether in a weight ratio (a) : (b) of 10 : 90 to 90 : 10. These initial products are particularly suitable for use in the production of washing powders.

The invention concerns novel fats of formula (I), in which R1 stands for a linear or branched alkyl group with eight carbon atoms, provided that the portion of free octanol is less than 5 wt %. The octylpropylene-glycolethers and the sulphates, ethoxylates and ether sulphates derived therefrom are distinguished by improved properties on application.

The invention relates to novel fatty alcohol (ether) sulphates which are obtained in that mixtures of (a) fatty alcohols with 6 to 22 carbon atoms and (b) fatty alcohol ethoxylates with 6 to 22 carbon atoms and 1.9 to 3.9 ethylene oxide units in a ratio 20:80 to 80:20 by weight are sulphated in a manner known per se. Said mixtures are subsequently neutralised with aqueous bases. In comparison with ether sulphates with comparable ethoxylation levels the low-temperature behaviour of the substances is clearly improved.

Extruded washing or cleaning agents that contain alk(en)yl sulphates have particularly advantageous solvent properties when a substantially water-free detergent mixture is used for producing them which contains (a) alkyl and/or alkenyl sulphates having the formula (I): R1OSO3X, in which R1 stands for a linear or branches aliphatic hydrocarbon residue with 16 to 18 carbon atoms and X stands for an alkaline or alkaline earth metal, ammonium, alkyl ammonium, alkanol ammonium or glucammonium; (b) alkyl and/or alkenyl sulphates having the formula (II): R2OSO3X, in which R2 stands for a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon residue with 12 to 14 carbon atoms and X has the same meaning as above; and (c) hydrophobic structure breakers having the formula (III): R4O(CH2CH2O)nH, in which R4 stands for a linear or branched alkyl and/or alkenyl residue with 12 to 18 carbon atoms and n equals 0 or stands for a number from 1 to 5, provided that the weight ratio between components (a) and (b) be from 90:10 to 70:30. As hydrophobic structure breaker (c), a non-ethoxylated alcohol with 12 to 18 carbon atoms is preferably used in the detergent mixture, and the percentage of C18-alcohol does not exceed 3 % by weight, in relation to the detergent mixture of (I), (II) and (III).

Disclosed is a wetting agent containing mixed ethers of formula (I) in which R1 is a strictly straight-chain alkyl group with 8 to 10 carbon atoms; R2 is an alkyl group with 1 to 4 carbon atoms; m is a number from 0.5 to 2 and n is a number from 6 to 9. Such wetting agents are stable on storage and readily biodegradable. They are suitable for use as non-foaming and foam-reducing auxiliaries in textile-conditioning processes.

Solid washing, rinsing and cleaning agents containing: a) mixtures of anionic and non-ionic surfactants in a weight ratio of 9:1 to 1:9, and b) 1 to 50 % by weight, in relation to the non-ionic surfactants, of selected polymer solidifying materials, are resistant to the gradual escape of the non-ionic tensides. Grease permeation through the cartons containing them is reliably prevented.

In order to improve the cleaning and rinsing power, the fluidity and the pumpability as well as the storage stability and resistance to cold of liquid washing and cleaning agents and intermediates for producing the same, surfactant mixtures are provided containing a short-chain alkyl oligoalkoxylate having the formula R -(OC3H6)n-(OC2H4)p-OH, in which R is an alkyl residue with 6 to 10 C atoms, n is a number from 0.5 to 3 and p is a number from 4 to 10, and a long-chain alkyl oligoalkoxylate having the formula R -(OC2H4)q-OH, in which R is an alkyl residue with 12 to 22 C atoms and q is a number from 4 to 10, in a weight ratio from 4:1 to 10:1.

Anionic surfactants with improved solubility are obtained by processing anionic surfactants selected from the group of alkylbenzenesulfonates, alkane sulfonates, olefin sulfonates, alkyl ether sulfonates, glycerine ether sulfonate, α-methyl ester sulfonates, alkylsulfonic acids, fatty alcohol sulfates, fatty alcohol ether sulfates, glycerine ether sulfates, hydroxy mixed ether sulfates, monoglyceride (ether) sulfates, fatty acid amide (ether) sulfates, sulfosuccinates, sulfosuccinamates, sulfotriglycerides, amide soaps, ether carboxylic acids, isethionates, sarcosinates, taurides, alkyl oligoglucoside sulfates and alkyl (ether) phosphates, together with a hydrophobic structure breaker and selected polymer stabilizers to form a powder using per se known methods, or by working them into lumps. The products show excellent cold-water solubility and can be used in preparing solid surface active agents.
