    摘要: An AC system having, for example, a voltage source (1), an inductance (2) and a load (3) has connected thereto an apparatus for controlling the phase and amplitude of the voltage of the system. The instantaneous current and voltage in the AC electrical system are measured (410, 440) and power measurements derived (430) therefrom. The power measurements may be instantaneous real and imaginary power, instantaneous active and reactive power, or active and reactive power averaged over less than one cycle. The power measurements are then used to derive (421, 422) phase related control values (Iq, Id), on the basis of which control signals are generated to a converter (42). The action of the converter (42) in accordance with the control signals thus controls the amplitude and phase of the voltage. By use of power measurements, it is not necessary to measure the phase of the voltage of the AC system.

    摘要: In order to control a voltage using e.g. a tap transformer (5000), the difference V between the actual voltage (V) and a reference voltage (110) is obtained (120) and integrated over time (130). That integral is then modified by at least one parameter generated by fuzzy logic (3000) from control conditions of the voltage. In this way the fuzzy logic (3000) may find the optimum control strategy which keeps the actual voltage closest to the reference voltage without an excessive number of tap position changes. The reference voltage (110) may vary with time, and therefore the control of the voltage with time may be evaluated (2000), and the control conditions varied accordingly, e.g. by fuzzy logic so that the control arrangement can exhibit learning. Normally, the integral is modified by such that ∫ΔVdt ≧ B when B is the parameter determined by the fuzzy logic (3000), but other control strategies may be used. The present invention is also applicable to control of reactive power.

Each workstation (10,20,30) has at least one server program (415,510,520,530) which processes user events input to the workstation (10,20,30) from suitable input means (210,220,230) and also controls the display (200,201,202) of the workstation (10,20,30). One or more of the workstations also contains a client program (430,600). The server program (415,510,520,530) of each workstation (10,20,30) transmits processed user events to the client program (430,600) which then processes them. The client program (430,600) may then control some (more than one) or all of the workstations (10,20,30) on the basis of user inputs to any one of the workstations (10,20,30). Thus, for example, the client program may be arranged to generate corresponding windows on the display (200,201,202) of each workstation (10,20,30), so that any of the workstations (10,20,30) may control the display (200,201,202). A priority order among users may be used to resolve conflicting instructions. In this way, a greater efficiency of use of shared resources can be achieved. Of course the sytem may also be operated with a one-to-­one connection of a server program (415,510,520,530) and a client program (430,600).
