This application discloses a signal generating method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: performing cyclic electro-optic modulation on a first signal to generate a first optical frequency comb signal, where the first signal is a signal output by a laser source, the first optical frequency comb signal includes a target spectral component, and a frequency of the target spectral component is equal to a sum of or a difference between a frequency of the first signal and a frequency of a target signal; performing first filtering processing on the first optical frequency comb signal to generate the target spectral component; and generating the target signal based on a heterodyne beat frequency of the first signal and the target spectral component. In the method, cyclic electro-optic modulation is performed on the first signal. The first optical frequency comb signal including the target spectral component with relatively high power may be obtained. Further, the target spectral component with the relatively high power may be obtained through filtering. A terahertz wave signal with a relatively high frequency may be obtained based on the heterodyne beat frequency of the first signal and the target spectral component.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a frequency mixing circuit and a method for suppressing local oscillation leakage in the frequency mixing circuit, where a mixed input signal and a local oscillation signal are involved, and local oscillation leakage can be effectively reduced by using a frequency mixing circuit whose structure is simpler and is easier to be implemented. The frequency mixing circuit includes a direct current bias circuit, where the direct current bias circuit includes a direct current bias voltage source used for reducing a local oscillation current. The frequency mixing circuit is mainly applied to frequency mixing, and especially to a case where an intermediate frequency signal is mixed with a local oscillation signal to output a radio frequency signal.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a radio frequency signal loopback method and an outdoor unit. The outdoor unit includes: a transmitting module, a receiving module, a splitter module, a combining module, a duplexer, and an amplifier. The transmitting module is configured to transmit a signal; the splitter module is configured to split the signal transmitted by the transmitting module into two branches, where one branch of the signal is input into the amplifier, and the other branch of the signal is input into the duplexer; the amplifier is configured to amplify the signal from the splitter module; the duplexer is configured to filter the signal from the splitter module and then output the signal to an antenna, and filter an external signal received by the antenna and then output the external signal to the combining module; the combining module is configured to combine the signal output by the amplifier with the signal output by the duplexer, and then output a combined signal to the receiving module; and the receiving module is configured to receive the combined signal output by the combining module. By using the technical solutions provided in the present invention, loopback of a signal at any frequency in a working frequency band and any service mode of the outdoor unit can be implemented.

A method and a device for duplexer fault detection relating to the microwave communications technology are disclosed in the present invention to solve the problem in the prior art that the performance of duplexers cannot be detected online. A method provided by the an embodiment of the present invention includes: receiving the detection voltage of the return wave signals of the duplexer, the return wave signals being part of the reflection signals generated at the input port of the duplexer by microwave signals that are input at the input port of the duplexer; judging whether the detection voltage of the return wave signals exceeds a reference threshold; and determining that the duplexer is faulty if the detection voltage of the return wave signals exceeds the reference threshold. The present invention can realize the detecting of the duplexer performance online.
